I require a response to the invoice email within 48 hours of the invoice being sent to you with an understanding that you have read the invoice as well as the policy’s. Each invoice will specify the details of your order and delivery/ pick up details.

Deliveries for custom orders are subject to availability. Delivery is only available locally and the communities surrounding Downtown Birmingham.
-The rate is 70 cents per mile, the standard 2025 milage fee as well as $15.00 per hour round trip.
- this delivery is based on availability and does not include any set up.
- the order will be handed off to the appropriate person in a timely manner of arrival!
- Delivery and set up fees for Weddings and other events will be listed under the Wedding tab.
- Upon delivery I will wait 10 minutes to fulfill the delivery. If the order is not delivered due to the customer not being there upon the agreed date and time the order will be donated to a local first responder location or nursing home.
-DELIVERY ON WEEKENDS are saved for large cake orders and Special Events (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY) - $500 minimum cake order required as well as the standard set up fee listed on the WEDDINGS tab.
Pick up for custom orders will be in Vestavia on Thursdays during the day or delivered on Thursday evenings (free) unless another agreed upon time has been determined prior to placing your order.
- If you do not pick up your order on the specified date/ time your order will be donated to a local first responder location or nursing home. (Exceptions will be made if space and time allow)
Refunds are a case by case basis. I understand that plans can change at any moment and will try to accommodate. Cancellations for a full refund are allowed up to 22 days before scheduled delivery/pick-up and must be in writing to magnoliabaking@gmail.com.
- after cancelation of any two orders (two invoices) I will not accept additional orders in the future
- No refunds are offered after 21 days before scheduled delivery/pick-up. If your event date changes we will give you instructions to freeze your cookies, cakes, ect. to keep them safe until they are needed. If we happen to be available and you wish to reschedule, a rescheduling fee of 25% of the total cost is required to be payed within 24 hours of receiving a rescheduling invoice, to secure the new date. Refunds only apply to custom orders. Refunds are not available for any cookies ordered during a pre-sale or pop up.
- REFUNDS ARE NOT GIVEN if you mishandle an order and do not abide by the care instructions provided.
- If your order is mishandled by accident I will attempt to fix the problem if I am available. (FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE)
I take pride in what I create for you and want to provide the best instructions for you to handle your order once it leaves my care. All products once picked up are no longer under the responsibility of Magnolia Baking Co. I am not responsible for any damage to your order during your transportation, set up, or anytime after pick up.
- With warm weather arriving and all cakes being decorated with buttercream, it is your responsibility to plan ahead for cool/ cold transportation as well as where the cake will be stored prior to the event as well as during the event. A buttercream cake will not last regardless of structural supports if left out at 70 degrees or warmer, in any sunlight or lights that produce heat, etc..
- Cakes depending on size will come in large/ tall boxes and wrapped for the freezer/ fridge.
- No refunds are given in the event the order is damaged in any way after pick up. I strive to insure that all orders are packed perfectly and to this date have never had an issue regardless the size or quantity or the order.
- To ensure your order is in the same condition after pick up/ delivery please be careful with it and read all care instructions and abide them. If you follow all care instructions it is guaranteed to be a success!
I strive to create a unique and beautiful experience and custom creation for each order! Every order when handed off to its client, is completed whether it requires fresh flowers, acrylic toppers, ect. Once an item is handed off nothing is to be added to it except for the exception of candles. Everything added to a cake has to be inserted and handled in specific ways to insure the cake is still edible and safe to eat. I am not liable for additional items added to a cake that could potentially cause harm to an individual or for the cake to have a different aesthetic than the one created!

Yes, if time permits and I am avaible I will take an order given 7 days to complete it with an added fee depending on the size and quantity of the order.
No, at this time I do not offer a discount for large orders because it take the same amount of time and ingredients to create each item.
